I thought he was brave because hewas fattaly pierced in the chest by a stingray spine while snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef , at Batt Reef , Wich is located off the coast of port dougles in queensland. Irwin was in the area filming his own documentary,Ocean's Deadlist ,but weather had stalling filming.Irwin decided to take the apportunity to film some shallow water shots for a segment in the television program fore Bindi.
